The labour codes: what changes in your payroll
The four codes have been in force since 21 November 2025 and the Central Rules since May 2026. What to check in your wage structure, pay dates, registers and exits.
PF, ESI, professional tax, labour welfare fund and the registers and returns under the four labour codes, tracked on one calendar across every state you employ in.
The four labour codes replaced 29 central laws on 21 November 2025, and the Central Rules followed on 8 May 2026. States are notifying their own rules on their own timetable. For an employer with people in several states, the calendar is now longer, not shorter, while the transition runs.
We keep one compliance calendar per client, with each obligation, its legal basis, its due date and its owner. Every filing is prepared, reviewed by a second person and evidenced, so an inspection becomes a matter of opening a folder.

Compliance follows your establishments. We load each state's professional tax, labour welfare fund and labour-code rules into your calendar as the state notifies them.
The Central Rules notified on 8 May 2026 prescribe new formats for registers of employees, wages and attendance. Where a state has not yet notified its own rules, we keep both until the transition settles.
No. We prepare the records, the evidence folder and the working papers. Representation, where needed, is handled by the professionals you appoint.
